Training & background:
Dr Adejuwon qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospital’s Medical School (now part of King’s College London) in 2002. He did basic surgical training in Hertfordshire Hospitals before completing specialist training in Sports and Exercise Medicine through the London Deanery.
Dr Adejuwon has been the club doctor at Saracens Rugby Club, since 2007. He was the doctor to the England Rugby U16’s team, medical team leader during the London 2012 Olympics and part of the medical delivery team during the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
He is an Honorary Consultant at University College Hospital London with a particular interest in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound scanning.
Any spare time remaining he spends with his supportive wife and three children.
Non-operative management of musculoskeletal and sports related injuries including shoulder, hip and groin, knee, foot and ankle pathologies. Non-operative treatment of osteoarthritis and tendon disease, utilising high-resolution ultrasound scan for diagnosing conditions and for performing image-guided therapeutic injections. Concussion management. Particular sporting interest: Rugby (both codes), Running (track and distance), Cycling, CrossFit and Tennis.
