Training & background:
Dr Ghazi graduated from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College, University of London. He received his postgraduate training in anaesthesia and pain medicine in west London on the Imperial rotation and completed his postgraduate training as a Fellow in pain medicine at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square which included experience in neuromodulation with spinal cord stimulation.
Dr Ghazi was appointed Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthetics to Whipps Cross University Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Health NHS Trust where he is the Clinical Lead for Pain Services. He is actively involved in undergraduate and post graduate teaching.
Dr Ghazi has lectured nationally and internationally and has published widely in both journals and text books. His main interests are chronic head and neck pain, abdominal pain, pelvic pain, neuropathic pain, cancer pain and back pain; including neuromodulation with spinal cord stimulation.
